All our stores remain open and it is business as usual for customers and store staff."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Fresh &amp; Easy's parent company Tesco announced in December 2012 that it would conduct a 'strategic review' of Fresh &amp; Easy Neighborhood Market. We are open for business as usual and we look forward to continuing to provide the same delicious, wholesome and affordable food and great service that you have come to expect from us every day. The company is taking all options under consideration. In October, Tesco revealed that new capital investment in Fresh &amp; Easy was to be tightly constrained, allowing the business to focus on reducing costs and improving the profitability.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">In July, reports began to circulate that Tesco was downsizing its Fresh &amp; Easy chain in the U.S.; cutting jobs at the California headquarters of its Fresh &amp; Easy chain but maintained the action did not signal the chains exit from the country.
