Price Chopper Supermarket has opened a new location in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. The 40,000-square-foot environmentally friendly Price Chopper was designed to achieve certification in the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">program. The location's features include a progressive storm water management plan, high efficiency lighting, a high albeido roof system,<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">along with HVAC domestic hot water and refrigeration systems, and water efficient plumbing.. The location will also be participating in<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Price Chopper’s Green Power Partnership agreement.
