Modesto, CA<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Save Mart Supermarkets family of stores has again been named as one of the winners of the 2011 Waste Reduction Award. The award, which recognizes a company for its green business programs and policies including waste reduction, recycling and conservation, is presented each year by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. Save Mart is now in its twelfth consecutive year of accepting the honor. Annually, businesses and non-profits are invited to showcase their efforts by applying for recognition with the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, Waste Reduction Awards Program.
