Sobeys is announcing an organizational realignment as well as resulting leadership appointments in order to situate the company for future growth and enhanced performance. Two business units have been formed, each led by a President of Operations; the IGA Operations business unit led by Marc Poulin and the Multi-Format Operations business unit led by Jason Potter, formerly President of Operations for the Sobeys Atlantic Region. The company is also announcing the appointment of François Vimard as Executive Vice President of Sobeys Inc. Paul Jewer, will partake in the current realignment through his new appointment as Chief Financial Officer, assuming strategic leadership for all financial functions with Sobeys Inc. He will be reporting to Mr. Vimard, in his new role.
