Sysco Names Jackie M. Ward the Seventh Chairman in Sysco's 44-year History

<p>Sysco has named Jackie M. Ward as the corporation’s non-executive Chairman of the Sysco Board of Directors. Ward succeeds Manny Fernandez, who retired from the board on November 15, 2013. Mr. Fernandez had served on Sysco's board since November 2006, according to a press release. Ward has been a Sysco Director since September 2001.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“I am looking forward to continuing to work with Sysco, including partnering with president and chief executive officer Bill DeLaney and his highly experienced senior leadership team," said Ms. Ward.
