Sysco Releases New Foodie Solutions Toolkits

HOUSTON, TX - For many consumers, excitement is arising—whether it be from the quickly approaching Super Bowl, or Valentine’s Day, or both. To help restaurants make the most out of consumers’ excitement, Sysco has announced that it has added four new toolkits to its Foodie Solutions platform.
“At Sysco, we are here to support and partner with our restaurant customers as they continue to navigate constantly evolving operating conditions,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Judy Sansone. “Our Foodie Solutions Toolkits offer business solutions to help our customers drive new revenue streams, support their operational profitability, and deliver memorable experiences to their guests.”
The Valentine’s Day, Wholesome Dining, Greatest Game, and Seafood toolkits are key resources for restaurant operators to ensure success as the holiday approaches, according to the press release.
With Valentine’s Day being one of the most common days to enjoy a meal at a restaurant, Sysco launched the Valentine’s Day toolkit, which offers virtual experiences including chef-prepped meal kits and wine pairings; packaging for takeout and delivery; and options for delicious, restaurant-quality desserts.
Sysco has also launched The Wholesome Dining toolkit, which offers ideas to help restaurant operators meet consumers’ demand for healthy options, including vegan and gluten-free diets; the Get Hooked on Seafood kit, which features options and recipes to strengthen seafood menus; and Greatest Game, which provides ideas on how to bring the joy of tailgating this Super Bowl season despite the pandemic, with Tailgate Kits To Go.
Whether consumers are ordering in for the game or having a romantic dinner at home, these kits are the perfect way to make sure they are happy with their dining experience in the upcoming month.
