Target Ramps Up Canada Expansion with Nine New Stores

<p> Target is continuing to expand its footprint in Canada with another nine new stores planned throughout 2014. Most of these new stores will open in Ontario, with single store additions planned for Quebec, Manitoba, Alberta, and B.C., according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> “This past year marked a major milestone for Target as we delivered on the unprecedented goal of opening 124 Target stores across ten provinces in 2013,” said Tony Fisher, President of Target Canada. “As we head in 2014, we will continue to enhance the guest experience at all stores, while continuing to expand our presence in new Canadian neighborhoods.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Three new stores will open per quarter, beginning Spring 2014.
