Parents will have a little help thanks to Tesco, in getting their kids to eat their greens at dinner time with the introduction of a sweeter variety of homegrown broccoli. The superfood is packed with nutrients, is low in fat with typically less than 0.5g of fat per 100g and is a source of folic acid which supports the development of a baby before and during pregnancy as well as maintaining a healthy immune system and reducing tiredness. The veggie is also a source of vitamin C which benefits the immune system during and after intense physical exercise.

The superfood is going on sale exclusively at Tesco stores across the UK, according to a press release.
