Tops Markets has named William R. Mills as its senior vice president, succeeding Kevin Darrington as chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1st. Darrington joined Tops as CFO in 2008, will remain as chief operating officer, a role he had taken on earlier this year. Mr. Mills was formerly senior vice president, treasurer and CFO for Weis Markets from 1992 to 2009. At Tops, he will report to Frank Curci, president and chief executive officer. Patrick Curran is leaving the company as senior vice president, sales and marketing, effective Dec. 31. The executive changes were revealed in recent filings with the SEC. Tops, with 132 supermarkets in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania, is privately owned but files certain financial documents because of a debt offering earlier this year.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
