United Supermarkets Raises Record Funds

<p><strong>Lubbock, TX</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">United Supermarkets and its partners and suppliers have raised a record $220,000 at the 21st Jacky Pierce Charity Classic held on August 26 through August 27. According to a press release, the proceeds benefit the 14 United Way organizations that serve United’s trade network.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“The United Way does so much good for our community and we support their mission of advancing the common good and creating opportunities for a better life for all,” said Tommy Wilkins, Jacky Pierce Charity Classic co-chair. Donations were awarded on a percentage basis relative to store sales in each regions and were awarded to the following: United Way of Abilene, United Way of Amarillo &amp; Canyon, Dallan-Hartley Counties United Way Dalhart, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Graham Area United Way, Hutchinson County United Way Borger, Lubbock Area United Way, United Way of Moore County Dumas, North Texas Area United Way Wichita Falls, Ochiltree United Way Perryton, Pampa United Way, Plainview Area United Way, Scurry County United Way Snyder, and United Way of Metropolitan Tarrant County Fort Worth.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://www.unitedtexas.com/" target="_new"> United Supermarkets </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
