US Foods has kicked off its "Next Top Product" contest, inviting chefs from across the country to create America’s hottest new food trend. More than 250,000 chefs who are customers of US Foods are able to take part in the contest by submitting their favorite recipe for a chance to win $20,000 in cash and prizes. The winner will also have their recipe developed into a new US Foods Chef’s Line product that will distributed nationally. US Foods customers can enter at usfoods.com/contest from now until August 3rd. Public voting will take place on US Foods' Facebook page where the top 30 qualifying recipes will be posted after all submissions have been taken. The three chefs who receive the highest number of votes will prepare their dishes at the US Foods Fall Food Lovers Forum in Chicago this<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">September with the winning recipe being introduced as a Chef's Line product in March of 2013.
