US Foodservice has announced the purchase of Cerniglia Products, a leading distributor of Italian specialty foods. Located in Middleton, Wisconson, Cerniglia Products will be an addition to the US Foodservice-Milwaukee division. Additionally, former owner of Cerniglia products Vito Cernigla will join the division as a consultant. Like US Foodservice, Mr. Cerniglia stated that the Italian specialty foods distributor is committed to providing excellent products and service to its consumers. Tim Hart, division president, U.S. Foodservice-Milwaukee added that “This acquisition gives U.S. Foodservice-Milwaukee customers access to Cerniglia’s broad selection of Italian specialty foods, and Cerniglia customers now have access to more than 9,000 U.S. Foodservice national brand and private label products.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
