The company has revealed a list of over 65 products with prices frozen through August 24, 2013. Wegmans will not increase the retail price during this period even if costs go up for these products. This includes all flavors/varieties, the number of items – SKUs – and totals over 300. The complete list is now available on Wegmans website. There are 14 different produce items including such things as grape tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lemons, limes, and organic salad greens, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“Based on every measure we have considered, it is clear that the simplicity and relevance of a seasonal list where prices are locked in for several months works for our customers,” says President Colleen Wegman. “And, it is not just a way to budget and save money; it’s also a tool for planning a healthy meal.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Meat, seafood, produce, grocery, dairy, bakery, frozen foods, and deli are included as well as organic products.
