Wegmans Food Markets has been honored by the Algonquin Regional High School. The young academics put on a recent performance of "Wegmans...the Musical." Bill Congdon, New England Division Manager for Wegmans Food Markets, made a special visit to the drama class at the school who returned the favor by bringing bagels and cream cheese, donuts, and juice, as well as a one-time scholarship certificate of $1000. Wegmans has always been a strong supporter of education and encouraging youth. School administrators at the school will choose the recipient of the scholarship based on Wegmans’ Who We Are Values: Making a Difference in the Community, Empowerment, Respect, Caring, and High Standards. This is the second scholarship Wegmans has offered to a school in the region. Bill Congdon, states, “The students did such a fantastic job of learning about our company, observing what we do, and then telling the story on stage.
