<p>Consumer Reports is releasing the results of its survey of more than 27,000 readers, which it has compiled into a report of <b>Supermarket Ratings.</b><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The survey rated 55 supermakets, according to several categories, which were: Service, Perishables, Prices, and Cleanliness.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://dig.abclocal.go.com/wabc/PDF/032614supermarkets.pdf" target="_new"> Click Here to View Consumer Reports' Supermarket Ratings </a><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacySmallCroppedImages/supermarket032714bdy2.jpg" alt="cropped_Image_032714" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Earning the highest rating was <b>Wegmans</b>, with an overall score of 88.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><b>Trader Joe's, Publix, Costco</b>, and <b>Sprouts Farmers Market</b> also topped the list.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Notably, <b>Whole Foods Market</b> scored high in all categories besides Prices. Yet, in many cases these higher prices are the result of items being organic, fair trade, or exotic.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">When it comes to consumer satisfaction, there is definitely room for improvement. The report showed that <b>56% of survey respondents had at least one complaint about their current supermarket</b>.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">In many cases, markets tied with the same score, or were within one or two points from their competitors. The participation and methodology of this survey undoubtedly made all the difference.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Congratulations to Wegmans, Trader Joe's, Publix, and Sprouts on their top consumer ratings.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
