Not only is the Berry Burst Chicken Salad bursting with fresh strawberries and blueberries, but also features leafy greens, feta cheese, and grilled chicken all tossed in a raspberry vinaigrette. To sweeten the deal even more, Wendy’s also announced a partnership with delivery service DoorDash, so that consumers don’t have to brave the heat to get their hands on the latest menu item.
“Our new Berry Burst Chicken Salad is filled with freshly grilled chicken, fresh strawberries and blueberries, and hand-chopped lettuce—those are things you just don’t find at other salad places,” said Wendy’s Chief Concept and Marketing Officer Kurt Kane. “And now that we’re offering free delivery through DoorDash, it’s easier than ever to get a great tasting and fresh salad no matter how busy you might be this summer.”
If your stomach hasn’t hungry-grumbled yet, you’ve been warned; the Berry Burst Chicken Salad’s bed of hand-chopped lettuce is topped with almonds and antioxidant-rich seasonal berries, and boasts 41 grams of protein, 4 grams of fiber, and a complete days’ worth of vegetables all for less than 500 calories.
