I guess it really was love at first site.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Albertsons LLC, notes, "It’s historic! After six years of being separate companies, Albertsons and Albertsons Market are back together again. And now we have to consider which brand will define us. We’re asking our fans and friends to help us in our discussions."</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The company is asking voters to choose between Albertsons Market and Albertsons. Although it may seem like only a slight change in definition, it is a huge change to the company's new identity. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>This recent development comes in the wake of Supervalu’s $3.3 billion sale of Albertsons stores to Ceberus Capital Management is set to close on Thursday, reuniting the brands that went their separate ways in 2006.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Supervalu announced it was selling all Albertsons, Acme, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s and Star Market stores to Cerberus, the investment firm that purchased some of the Albertsons stores in 2006.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The sale is reported to include 877 stores and is likely to include layoffs as part of the restructuring process.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Albertsons LLC, already owned by Ceberus, manages 190 Albertsons Market stores spread across eight states and employing over 20,000 people.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href=" http://albertsonsmkt.com/brandquestion" target="_new">Albertsons Market</a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
