<p>Whole Foods is sending out mailings which offer former Dominick's shoppers $15 off a $50 purchase, according to the Chicago Sun Times. The mailings were sent to communities throughout the Chicago region. Also included in the mailings, is a sympathy note and a list of affordable items available at Whole Foods.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“With the unfortunate closing of this long-standing Chicago brand [Dominick’s], we sent out coupons to communities, inviting residents to check out their local Whole Foods Market in hopes they would discover how delightful and affordable natural and organic foods can be,” Whole Foods spokeswoman Allison Phelps said.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">To get the discount, the coupon may be used, or customers can relinquish their Dominick's loyalty card, which Whole Foods will recycle.
