Whole Foods Offers Salad Bars and Garden Grants to Almost 900 Schools

Over 2 million shoppers donated to the cause during the foundation’s annual two-week fundraiser in September. The program aims to help children reach optimal health and nutrition through smart food choices. Together with the Let’s move Salad Bars to Schools program, the Whole Kids foundation has given over one million children access to healthy food. Nona Evans, president and executive director for the Whole Kids Foundation, stated, “The overwhelming generosity we’ve seen from our shoppers is incredibly inspiring and speaks to the shared vision we have to help make a difference in the health of our children.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
