<p>Whole Foods has recently opened a 40,000 square foot store located in the Pleasant Shops Plaza at 35 Pleasant Street in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. The location employs 140 full and part time team members and joins the Hingham location as the second Whole Foods Market serving the south shore, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“We are so thrilled to have the opportunity to join the Weymouth community,” says Buck Rollins, Store Team Leader. “This Whole Foods Market location offers the great natural and organic groceries and outstanding value that our shoppers expect along with some really unique and exciting offerings that have never been seen before in our New England stores.”</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The store offers fresh squeezed-in-store fruit and vegetable juices in the produce department, as well as a “Cooking South Weymouth” educational culinary station to complement the selection of bulk offerings, which includes dried beans, grains, nuts, dried fruit and sprouted options. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The area's finest cheese shop can also be found in the new South Weymouth location. Quick and convenient meal options are available in the chef-run prepared foods department, including the “Grass Fed Grill” serving up made-to-order burgers and hot dogs as well as vegan options and hand cut fries.
