Whole Foods Partners with PBS

Wed. August 15th, 2012

PBS KIDS and Whole Foods Market® have launched a new campaign to inspire and promote healthy living. With the new partnership families will be provided with fun, easy-to-use tools and educational resources to help them make informed choices about organic foods while educating and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Through the “Fantastic Organic” campaign, online resources will be utilized from PBS Parents, PBS KIDS and Whole Foods Market to help families learn to cook, shop and explore organic foods together. Specified Whole Foods Market stores will also be hosting in-store, family friendly events, to share facts, tips, and advice about organic products. Whole Foods Market stores will host “The Hunt for Organics,” an in-store scavenger hunt to promote information gathering. Kids can redeem their completed activity sheet for an Organic Valley prize pack where they can also enter for the grand prize drawing of a one-year supply of Organic Valley products. Scott Simons, senior global marketing director for Whole Foods Market, stated, “Organic foods and supporting healthy eating education are at the core of what we do, and we’re excited to partner with PBS KIDS to inspire healthier food choices during the back-to-school season.”
