Fresno, CA - The California Grape & Tree Fruit League has scheduled two identical workshop sessions this month to examine SB 126's significant revisions to the Agricultural Labor Relations Act. Analysis and discussion on the projected impact of SB 126 will be hosted by well-known and respected labor attorneys Joseph Herman and Peter Hurtgen. The law is predicted to result in an increase in organizing by the United Farm Workers of America and possibly the addition of other unions into organizing farm workers, according to a recent newsletter.

The first of the two workshops will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at UC Riverside in the Palm Desert Graduate Center, Room B114 / 117, 75080 Frank Sinatra Dr., Palm Desert, CA 92211.
