Live Oak Farms
Live Oak Farms is a diversified family farm that grows and packs mature green and vine ripened tomatoes, roma tomatoes and bell peppers in Le Grand, CA.
Currently, Live Oak Farms shepherds production on more than 3,000 acres of farmland located primarily in Merced County. In addition to its main crops, Live Oak Farms also grows almonds, alfalfa, wheat, corn and other rotational crops to diversify and compliment the company’s fruit and vegetable production.
The Giampaoli family has been stewards of their agricultural land since 1929 when the founding family members grew tomatoes and packed them under the shade of a Live Oak tree, the company’s namesake. Today, tomatoes and bells peppers are sustainably grown and packed in modern packinghouses using stringent food safety protocol.
Second and third generation Giampaoli family members now actively manage Live Oak Farms. Each family member honors the founding principles of honesty, hard work, dedication, love of family and the importance of community. Farming is a demanding profession, but it remains a labor of love for the Giampaoli family. In sum, having experienced many changes and technological advances since 1929, the family’s commitment to providing the highest quality product to their customers remains a constant standard adhered to by each succeeding generation of Giampaoli’s.
