Since we don’t believe great taste should be seasonal, we grow in Texas, Nevada, New Mexico, Peru, and Mexico to ensure that only the best-tasting sweet onions are available in your local grocery stores all year long. Providing a great product is only the beginning – Shuman Farms firmly believes in a business culture of giving back in the communities where our RealSweet® brand sweet onions are sold. Our flagship philanthropic venture, Produce for Kids (PFK) brings the industry together to educate consumers about healthy eating and raises funds for local children’s non-profit organizations. Since 2002, the PFK program has raised over $5.7 million to make a difference in our participating retailer markets by partnering with organizations including Feeding America.
