Giumarra Begins Marketing Mangos From Mexico

<p><strong>LOS ANGELES, CA</strong> - On behalf of R.C.F. Produce, the Giumarra Companies will be marketing mangos from Mexico for the 2012 season. Kent, Haden, Keitt, and Tommy Atkins as well as Ataulfo and Baby Ataulfo varieties will be offered. The fruit will ship at the end of February, with supplies continuing through the end of September.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Craig Uchizono, Vice President Southern Hemisphere, states, “We are very excited to be the exclusive distributor for the R.C.F. Produce mango program. Our volume will grow significantly, which will enable us to offer our customers solid, secure programs throughout the season."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Malu Crespo, President of the Nogales, Arizona based R.C.F. Produce, runs all U.S. operations an facilitates the products movement throughout Mexico with the help of her three brothers. The company markets fresh fruit and vegetables grown in Sinaloa, Mexico. The fruit will be sold via Giumarra’s Nogales, Vernon, and Southeast offices. Jorge L. Crespo of R.C.F. Produce, states, “We are glad to be working with Giumarra, a fellow family-owned company.
