<p><strong>La Cañada Flintridge, CA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Kenny Lund, The Allen Lund Company's Vice President, has been elected to serve for 2012 to 2013, as a member of the United Fresh Produce Board Officers, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> He assumed the role in April 2012 and will be the new chairman of Supply Chain Logistics Council for a term of two years. This Council was created to serve industry members in all areas of supply chain management. These areas include Transportation, Cold Chain Quality Control, and traceability systems. With Mr. Lund's help, the council will have an increased focus on transportation and logistics solutions at the United Fresh convention and other UFPA events.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> "To be invited to be a part of the United Fresh Produce Association Board of Directors is a wonderful honor," said Lund, "and I look forward to working with the board as we continue to develop strong ties between producers and transportation companies."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Kenny Lund has been with the company since 1989. His roles include managing the Refrigerated Transportation Division in Los Angeles for eight years assuming the role of Vice President of Information and Technology.
