“Bako Sweet® is excited to showcase its full suite of products with emphasis on convenience packs including bags, trays, and microwavable singles,” Susan Noritake, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, tells me. “We will be showcasing our Easter-themed displays and are eager to talk to retailers about our spring and summer promotions.”

Diving into the highlights of the Southeast market spotlighted by the expo, which takes place this year in Orlando, Florida, Susan says the Southeast market is an exciting one.

“We especially like the unique cuisine enjoyed in the region. It’s our great pleasure finding ways for consumers to incorporate sweet potatoes into their lives throughout the year. The Southern Expo has a happy and upbeat vibe. We look forward to networking, learning, and building connections to help make us better as a company and brand,” she shares.

With the timing of the show aligned perfectly with spring and summer focuses, including Easter and grilling, Bako Sweet is ready to match the enthusiasm that is often associated with the show.

“We are coming off of a big momentum month in February with our Heart Health campaign, so excitement is high and we are eager to talk to retailers and foodservice operators about our programs,” she explains. “Bako Sweet continues its mission to ‘Sweeten Your Everyday’—that might come in the form of a delicious new recipe, great promotion, or other meaningful connections.”

And, of course, with that networking being key, the team is delighted to bring along a new addition to both the sales and marketing departments to support its growing brand.

So be sure to swing by and say hi at booth #324, February 26–March 1.
