HOUSTON, TX - Keeping healthy eating habits top of mind, Brighter Bites has entered into a strategic partnership with MyPlate.gov. Through this collaboration, the nonprofit will stand alongside other impactful organizations and companies to elevate the USDA’s Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

MyPlate strategic partners include a variety of national organizations such as food retailers, restaurant chains, media outlets, healthcare corporations, food manufacturers, and more. According to a release, the mission of the program is to encourage healthier eating habits and choices, which aligns with Brighter Bites’ work.
The MyPlate website provides important information on why food choices matter, as well as resources to help make small choices that greatly benefit the overall well-being of an individual. MyPlate’s recipe for healthier eating starts with taking a look at how consumers fill their plates.
