SALINAS, CA - Another critical Director role is being filled at Church Brothers Farms as Antonio “Tony” Figueroa joins the team as the grower’s newest Director of Safety and Risk Management for both United States and Mexico operations.
"It is an honor to have the opportunity to work for Church Brothers as the Director of Safety and Risk Management,” said Figueroa. “I was born and raised in the area, and my roots started in agriculture at a very young age working side by side with my parents, who were farmers for many years. I am excited to be back in the industry that I grew up in. I look forward to working with all employees of Church Brothers to create a safe and healthy work environment."
Figueroa will now play a pivotal role in elevating Church Brothers Farms’ risk management culture, guided by an extensive background in regulatory compliance, loss control/prevention, and a proven record of leading successful safety and risk management programs and teams.
In this new role, Figueroa will optimize over 30 years of experience in safety and risk management to help cultivate a culture of safety excellence within the company while identifying potential risks and implementing proactive measures to safeguard operations. He will also collaborate with the Church Brothers leadership team to create and execute strategies that align with the supplier’s commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
As the release explained, his wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable in reinforcing and enhancing a culture of safety and risk management, ensuring the well-being of employees, the integrity of operations, and the satisfaction of valued customers and partners.
