Church Brothers Farms Launches New Ready Sides

SALINAS, CA - Recently, Church Brothers Farms made waves by adding new products to its fresh-cut line. It seems the innovator isn’t slowing down the momentum as Church Brothers launched its three-minute microwavable Ready Sides™. These new products will be added to the already existing line of retail fresh-cut vegetables as the company’s first retail value-added product bearing the Church Brothers Farms brand.
“Ready Sides is a perfect way to bring healthy and convenient food to the table,” said Rick Russo, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “With consumers doing more cooking in the home, we wanted to create a product to satisfy the changing demands and needs of the shopper.”
The launch of Ready Sides is part of the company’s strategic plan to create innovative products that provide shoppers with convenience, health, and value. According to the press release, each unique side includes a seasoned butter puck with 8 ounces of fresh vegetables, all 90 calories or less per serving. Microwaved directly in the bowl without the need to remove packaging, Ready Sides have the added convenience of zero mess and prep.
“With Ready Sides, our goal was to help consumers get healthy, great-tasting food on the table, quickly and easily,” Russo said.
Church Brothers Farms Ready Sides will launch with four flavors: Caramelized Onion and Bacon, Homestyle Buttery Garlic, Savory Italian Herb, and Mediterranean Lemon Thyme. The new release has a suggested retail price of $2.99 to $3.49, depending on the market, and contains 2.5 servings per bowl with a 16-day shelf-life. Ready Sides are available now and are shipping nationwide.
