<p>An Asian citrus psyllid has been found in a Mexican lime shipment in Nogales, Arizona.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Agriculture specialists with U.S. Customs and Border Protection at a commercial facility in the city found ther specimen and an entomologist with Department of Agriculture confirmed that the insect was indeed an Asian citrus psyllid, vector of the citrus greening disease.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The finding comes on the heels of reports of citrus greening in Mexico.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“This interception is significant because Citrus Greening Disease is considered one of the most serious diseases for citrus," said Agriculture Program Manager Tracy Filippi.
