I’ll follow his leadership example and continue to expand the program as we take The First Tee life skills and core values to the deserving youth throughout Monterey County. One of my goals is to engage the businesses of the Salinas Valley. The First Tee is serving the children of the employees of these companies and is waiving most registration fees. I’m hoping to create some awareness and ownership in the community and build lasting partnerships that result in building stronger communities through our children.”

As the new Chair, Mr. Gill will be succeeding Geoff Couch who will remain on the board. Geoff Couch, stated, "It has been a great pleasure to serve as chair of an organization that does such great work and fills such an important purpose in our community. I’m looking forward to David’s proven leadership to bring new partnerships and take us to the next level."
