<p>A Fresno County Superior Court judge has made a ruling in the Gerawan Farming and United Farm Workers union dispute. The Judge issued a temporary restraining order against Gerawan over allegations that the Fresno County farming company was threatening employees for supporting the UFW union, according to the Fresno Bee.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Gerawan attorney Ron Barsamian, noted "...it is standard practice for the UFW to make allegations against companies when they realize employees truly do not wish to be represented by the UFW."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The company and the union are locked in mandatory mediation to determine workers' wages and working conditions, the report states.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Over twenty years ago, the union won the right to represent Gerawan workers but contract negotiations were never completed. Gerawan claims the union abandoned the workers.
