<p>For produce marketers looking to connect with individual consumers via social media advertising, does Facebook or Twitter provide a better value?<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">A new research report released by Resolution, a social and search ad agency, shows that although advertisers are spending more on Facebook, <b>Twitter ads get more clicks.</b><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">However, the whole picture is more complicated, because <b>clicks cost significantly more on Twitter.</b> Additionally, although Twitter offers a higher click rate, <b>Facebook has a more extensive reach.</b><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://resolutionmedia.com/us/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/04/Resolution_SocialTrendsReport_Q12014.pdf" target="_new"> Click Here to View the Full Report From Resolution </a><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The research was based on the analysis of 20 clients' social media activity in 2013, which represented $37 million in ad spending. Twitter ads were found to generate clicks at a significantly higher frequency. Despite these results, advertisers invested 127% more in ads on Facebook than Twitter in 2013.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"The impressions offered by Facebook exceed those of Twitter by so much that <b>Facebook consistently delivers more clicks despite offering a much lower CTR (click-through rate) on average</b>," the report stated.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img style="width:500px" class="small-cropped-image" src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacySmallCroppedImages/click_through_rate.jpg" alt="Twitter facebook images" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><img style="width:500px" class="small-cropped-image" src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacySmallCroppedImages/impressions.jpg" alt="Twitter facebook images" /><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">After all of the data is presented, the report draws the conclusion that Facebook's superior reach makes it a <b>better deal</b> on both a per-click and impression basis. When buying ad space for consumers, companies should consider these statistics both now and in the future. It is possible that Twitter's user base could grow much larger, in which case its ads could become the better deal for marketers.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">So there you have it, produce marketers. If you're planning to invest in consumer-level marketing on social networks, <b>Facebook looks like the better deal.</b> However, if you're looking to catch the attention of buyers and suppliers within the produce industry, advertising with AndNowUKnow is still your best bet. ;)<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://www.facebook.com" target="_new"> Facebook </a><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://www.twitter.com/" target="_new"> Twitter </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
