<p>FirstFruits Marketing of Washington is winding down its fourth annual Take a Bite Out of Hunger™ program at select retailers touting a collective donation of 200,000 pounds of apples to local food banks, according to a press release. This year’s participating retailers included Ahold, A&P, Grocery Outlet, Harveys, Dave’s Marketplace and United Supermarkets, with support from C&S Wholesale Grocers.
