Washington-based FirstFruits recently announced Jeff Schroeder as the new Marketing Manager. His responsibilities will revolve around bolstering marketing efforts in their Yakima office.

Schroeder’s 32 year career in the industry includes experience in retail and wholesale at Western Family Foods, Inc. and Fred Meyer/Kroger, Inc.

Schroeder’s most recent position, Produce Consortium Director of Western Family Foods, Inc., put him in regular contact with produce directors and buyers for produce wholesalers across the nation. Working his way up from a retail clerk to various buying positions at Fred Meyer, 25+ years of his experience stem from his time at the retailer.
