FoodLink Market View provides access to past and present produce market pricing information and includes data from the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service shipping and terminal market reports. Other sources of data will be included over time. For ease of use, data is organized by commodity and presented in graph and table formats.
“We know that there is a lot of great market data out there, but it is not always easy to find or use, especially in a fast-moving market like fresh produce,” said Kevin Brooks, Chief Marketing Officer. “With FoodLink MarketView, we’re offering a simple way for suppliers to access up-to-date information about market pricing and trends, and put it to use directly over the FoodLink network.”
Annual subscriptions to MarketView provide unlimited access for all registered users at a subscribing company. The data covers more than 300 items including the major produce staples. Data is updated in real time, and can be viewed online, or downloaded and emailed for offline analysis.
