Freska Produce International Responds to Voluntary Recall of "Daniella" Mangos

<p><strong> Oxnard, CA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Freska Produce International LLC is responding to the recent events regarding potential food safety issues in relationship to mangos out of Mexico. In a company letter, Freska stressed that its produce and products are in no way associated with the voluntary recall of "Daniella" mangos by specified retailers and shippers due to a possible salmonella contamination. The company packs under its proprietary labels, “Freska” and “Bunny” only.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Along with the company not recalling its mangos, it has taken steps to ensure that its facilities are free of the salmonella bacteria. In addition to Freska’s current food safety protocols already in place, they have tested its facilities and fruit with accredited 3rd party auditors, according to the letter. Results conclude that no traces of the salmonella bacteria are in its product.
