In a company letter, Freska stressed that its produce and products are in no way associated with the voluntary recall of "Daniella" mangos by specified retailers and shippers due to a possible salmonella contamination. In addition to Freska’s current food safety protocols already in place, they have tested its facilities and fruit with accredited 3rd party auditors, according to the letter. Results conclude that no traces of the salmonella bacteria are in its product.
