<p>Gills Onions, a California-based market leader in fresh-cut onions, has announced that Teri Trost, Midwest Regional Manager, will be joining the company’s Sales team.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> In her new role, Teri will focus on helping Gills Onions customers build their fresh-cut onion category sales and profits, via training, food show support, and innovative promotional programs, according to a press release. Teri will also assist with the management of accounts at both the corporate and division level, and will interface with operations and internal sales, as part of the company’s total touch customer service program.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Teri comes to Gills Onions through her previous position at Fresh Connect with over 30 years of experience in foodservice sales management, customer service and marketing that includes new channel and new account development, as well as key account management. At Fresh Connect, Teri served as the Senior Manager in Foodservice Sales, overseeing initiatives in Sales and Marketing, New Product Development, Corporate Sanitation, National Client Training programs, and Organic programs, among many others.
