BLANDON, PA - A new executive has landed at Giorgio Fresh Company! Bryan Shelton, a CPG vet with over 20 years of experience, landed the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He will be responsible for sales team leadership, marketing, and business strategy.
Throughout his career, Shelton has made a name for himself in the packaged food arena, leading sales teams at Kellogg and Pinnacle Foods and Del Monte Foods. Most recently, Shelton held a leadership role at Del Monte, where he was responsible for the sales organization in the West, overseeing sales strategy development, and execution and leading innovation of new categories, a press release noted.
As he's accrued experience, Shelton has a proven record of facilitating long-term business goals with both customers and industry luminaries.
“Bryan is highly experienced, forward, and strategic thinking; we are fortunate to have him lead our sales and marketing efforts in the future,” reflected Joe Caldwell, President. “His track record of building high-performing sales teams coupled with his extensive experience in packaged foods will be advantageous to Giorgio as we continue to prioritize innovation. Assisting with the transition into this leadership position, current Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Greg Sagan, will be working together with Shelton.
