James Paul will be joining Giumarra's West Coast avocado and asparagus sales staff. Mr. Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in international business management from California Polytechnic University. He comes to Giumarra with sales and marketing experience with Greg Paul Produce Sales, Inc., based in Stockton, California., and Altar Produce, LLC, based in Calexico, California, according to a press release. The new addition also worked with Prima Bella Produce, Apio, and Boskovich Farms.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> In his new role, Mr. Paul will be engaging with Midwest and East Coast customers to implement programs designed to create incremental sales for asparagus and avocados. His responsibilities will also include coordinating efforts with Giumarra’s global supply to provide continuity of fresh Nature’s Partner asparagus throughout the year.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Bruce Dowhan, General Manager of Giumarra Agricom, states, “James will be focused on the continued growth of our avocado and asparagus programs.” Mr. Dowhan, continues, “He has an exceptionally strong background in produce sales and he is a valuable addition to our sales team.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> In mid-October, Giumarra Agricom will conclude its California avocado season.
