<p>Nearly 700 employees from Grimmway Farms joined efforts with Kern County’s Keep Kern Clean program to help make the city of Lamont, CA a greener, cleaner community. On Saturday, November 9, Grimmway employees helped create one of the largest cleanup efforts the Keep Kern Clean program has ever put together, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“Lamont is the home of Grimmway Farms and as you drive through Lamont there’s a need for a cleanup effort like this,” said Bob Borda, VP of Marketing. Both the company and the program helped clean more than 20 different areas throughout the city, removing trash from the streets and alleys. Supervisor Leticia Perez also joined the employees to help with the effort.
