IFCO Opens RPC Service Center in Oregon

<p><strong>Portland, OR</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> IFCO SYSTEMS US is welcoming the grand opening of its newest reusable plastic container (RPC) Service Center. The Portland, Oregon facility is the company's fifth U.S. service center, according to a press release. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p> The IFCO service center spans 85,000 square feet and washes over 40,000 RPCs per day. The center also ships and receives an estimated 25-40 truckloads of RPCs daily for IFCO’s grocery retail partners and grower shipper customers. This facility extends the company’s network in North America in support of the continued expansion of RPC use by leading retailers in Canada and the U.S. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p> The service center is expected to employ more than 100 employees. At present, IFCO has service centers in San Antonio, Texas; Rancho Cucamonga, California; Atlanta, Georgia, and Chicago, Illinois. IFCO service centers adapt strict food safety and quality assurance protocols, and utilize a variety of measures to reduce environmental impact.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
