<p>IFCO SYSTEMS has announced that Frank Ratto of Ratto Bros. Inc. and Hillary Femal of IFCO Systems will headline a presentation on packaging solutions as part of the educational series at PACK EXPO. To be held Monday, September 23, 2013 the session, titled Waste Reduction through Reusable Plastic Container Use in Fresh Produce Applications, is part of the Reusables Learning Center organized by the Reusable Packaging Association, according to a press release. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“Ratto Bros. and IFCO Systems are working together to encourage sustainable business practices throughout the extended produce distribution channels, while making the supply chain more efficient. This session will feature several examples of how this is effectively being accomplished now and how it will improve productivity and lower the carbon footprint even more in the future,” said Femal. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Ratto, a 3rd Generation “Leafy Greens” vegetable grower, uses IFCO RPCs at his vegetable farm in Modesto, California.
