Kevin Batt joins the producer, marketer and distributor of greenhouse grown produce to help the Exeter, Ontario based company grow and manage western business and supply. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>In his new position, Kevin will be working closely with both the Colorado and the Ontario divisions of Huron to continue to procure BC grown greenhouse products as well as establish and maintain new west coast business while adding to the strategic growth of Huron Produce.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>"I'm ecstatic at the opportunity to help grow a very proud company," Kevin tells AndNowUKnow, "I have worked with Jeff Kints and Huron in indirect capacities for years and I am eager to continue to promote their name and products to customers along the west coast."</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Kevin brings more than 13 years of experience in greenhouse sales, and grower and crop management, beginning in 1999 with BC Hot House. He then joined Oppenheimer and assisted the company in growing its new greenhouse category. Kevin moved back to BC Hot House with the task of helping them grow its sales and re-establishing its brand within the marketplace. Kevin is looking forward to a similar challenge with Huron Produce.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Kevin reflects on his beginnings in the produce industry, "I was in retail management when I moved into produce via a friend who was HR Director at BC Hot House. I knew nothing of the industry and soon was addicted to it's fast pace and daily obstacles." He continues, "I am continually amazed at the passion of the people within our industry who never seem to 'turn off'.
