Motivational speaker Marc Rosenberg titled his talk “Making Lemonade Out of Lemons” and discussed hat it takes to be a part of a team, including working hard and showing enthusiasm. Derek Barbagallo of Colony Foods comments, “Marc’s presentation was exciting, interactive and engaging.”

Foodservice industry consultant Bob Oros based his talk around helping segments of the foodservice improve their sales, lower expenses, and generate more profits. Mr. Orog states, “It’s not the size of the company that makes the difference, but the size of the service and the passion for being part of your customer’s business that gives a sales person the competitive edge. Our business is based on a one-to-one relationship between the customer and sales person who knows how to be of service as a consultant.”

The training session Hands-on Help for Sales Professionals spanned the two-day event. Legacy also provided a booth for its online video training tools, StreetWise, which were created to train DSR’s. CEO of Legacy Foodservice Alliance Steve Push states, “We stayed true to our mission with this event. The Connection is all about providing an intimate environment for educating our sales teams on new and innovative ways of helping our independent operator customers succeed. Operators continue to be squeezed by increasing product and operating costs. We’re just trying to do our part to help them compete and win in today’s highly competitive environment”

Legacy Foodservice Alliance
