PHILADELPHIA, PA - Lemon markets were mostly steady this week, although prices softened for select sizes as moderate demand continued across imported supplies.

According to the USDA's National FOB Review for July 22, Argentine imports through the Philadelphia area saw slightly lower pricing for 95s, 115s and 165s, while other sizes held about steady. Fancy 17-kilogram cartons of 75s, 95s and 115s were mostly $32 to $34, while 140s were mostly $28 to $30. The 165s and 200s were mostly $24 to $26, with occasional higher prices reported.

Caribbean imports through South Florida reflected similar market conditions. Fancy 75s, 95s and 115s were mostly $32 to $34, 140s were mostly $28 to $30, 165s were mostly $26 to $28, and 200s were mostly $24 to $26.

Overall, moderate demand continued to support the lemon market despite slight price adjustments for several carton sizes.
