Lipman Produce Donates to Imaginarium Science Center

<p><strong>Immokalee, FL</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Lipman Produce, a leading North American field tomato grower, has announced it will donate up to $35,000 to the Imaginarium Science Center in Fort Myers. Imaginarium Group, Inc, the nonprofit that supports the facility, will receive matched donations until October 28, 2012 or until the match is satisfied.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The donations will be used to make renovations to the Lipman Family Courtyard, which will serve as a dynamic part of The Calooshahatchee Experience exhibit. The area’s landscape will include native and “Florida-friendly” plants along with a butterfly garden.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Matt Johnson, Executive Director of the Imaginarium Science Center, states “We rely on support from companies like Lipman to provide funds to educational programs and exhibitions.” The nonprofit dedicated the Lipman Family Courtyard and began fundraising for the project during its 2012 Cherish Gala.
