Mann Packing’s Sweet Potato Crinkle Cut Fries are jumping into the spotlight today as they make their national television appearance on Food Network Canada.

The Sweet Potato Crinkle Cut Fries product will be featured on Food Factory. The original series created for The Food Network Canada which airs on Discovery Channel subsidiary’s Destination America is being broadcasted in more than 160 countries worldwide.

“We are thrilled to have one of our favorite items featured nationwide in Canada where we receive such great support from our retail partners,” said Lorri Koster, Chairman and CEO. “We’re planning other promotional activities throughout Canada this year to celebrate our 75th anniversary in business and further support sales of our full line of fresh cut vegetables.”

Food Factory takes audiences behind the scenes and into facilities where popular food and beverages are made, according to a press release. The show is one of the highest rated programs on Food Network Canada with an average of 6 million viewers per week.

The Mann’s Sweet Potato Crinkle Cut Fries episode was filmed in October 2013 at California Fresh Farms—a Mann’s subsidiary processing facility in Delhai, California. The producers decided to feature the Sweet Potato Fries to show the journey from peeling to cutting to packaging to store shelves for the popular item. The episode airs this evening, February 21st, 9:30 p.m. (EST).
