<p> After courageously fighting a 17 month battle against Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, Jean Dreshner of Hows Markets has passed away on September 18th.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Jean was well respected in the produce industry and a great friend to charities such as City of Hope. The Fresh Produce & Floral Council (FPFC) sends its thoughts and prayers to Jean’s family and friends.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Jean endured numerous hard physical battles, along with multiple forms of chemotherapy leading to a clinical trial. Although her odds were initially good, the disease was particularly resistant and aggressive and she sadly succumbed to this difficult battle.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 10:00 AM in the Oakwood Cemetery chapel.
